Fallon Ambulance Service is proud to support the Quincy Community Action Program's (QCAP) important work in the communities we serve this holiday season.
Katherina Deklerk presented Melinda Alexander of Quincy Community Action Program's Emergency Food Center in Quincy, a check for $400 from Fallon Ambulance Service. This amount reflects funds that were donated by Fallon employees at the Fallon Ambulance Service's 2013 Holiday party.
QCAP’s Emergency Food Center has been providing fresh and non-perishable foods to hungry, low-income families in Quincy and surrounding South Shore communities since 1983. During last year’s holiday season, a total of 1,860 special food orders were provided during the Holidays to help those less fortunate. A $100.00 donation feeds 5 households for 1 week.
