Community Outreach

Since our founding in 1923, community service has been a core value of Fallon Ambulance Service. Fallon Ambulance has always played a very active role in the communities in which we serve by offering services and programs free-of-charge, that make a real difference in people's lives.

Fallon Ambulance provides community education programs designed to better prepare citizens for emergency situations, whether they occur in the home, in an accident, or during a natural disaster. As professional first responders, Fallon Ambulance employees volunteer their time to educate the community and to participate in events helping to ensure the safety of those in attendance.

Corporate Philanthropy

Fallon Ambulance Service has contributed millions of dollars and employees have volunteered thousands of hours to improving the communities where they live and work. Clinical expertise and passion to serve are the hallmarks of Fallon Ambulance Service employees. At Fallon Ambulance Service, we make it a priority to contribute to a wide range of charitable programs and events. Some programs and organizations that we support are highlighted below:

Community Commitment

Fallon Ambulance is proud of its commitment to the communities that we service. Our focus on caring for community health and wellbeing is evidenced through our donations of thousands of hours of standby service and CPR training at community activities and statewide events including fairs, parades, festivals and road races. Fallon’s donations involve coverage of events such as the Boston Marathon, the Best Buddies Ride, the PAN-MASS challenge, and various Special Olympics events throughout the region. Because it is difficult to maneuver a large ambulance through the crowds at some of these events, Fallon Ambulance provides support via its Bike Medic Teams who can reach isolated patients and begin ALS treatment prior to the arrival of an ambulance...

"Are You Okay?"

“Are you Okay?” provides safety and security for elderly people living alone. Each morning, 365 days a year, an officer from the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office places a phone call to check on the wellbeing of people in this free-of-charge program. If they fail to answer or indicate they need emergency aid, the officer summons help immediately. The sheriff also serves as the statewide coordinator for Project Lifesaver, which joined forces in 2009 with LoJack SafetyNet to protect people with Alzheimer’s disease, autism and other afflictions whose sufferers tend to wander away from home and become lost...

Cradles to Crayons

Since 2009, Fallon Ambulance Service has supported the Cradles to Crayons’ Ready for School campaign. This ever-expanding, annual program continues to support local children in need by getting them ready to learn from head to toe; offering them a chance to flourish in their learning environments - and in their lives.

To help alleviate the effects of poverty on school readiness, the Ready for School program distributes backpacks filled with new, age-appropriate school supplies and KidPacks filled with shoes, clothing, and more, to ensure that the children we serve arrive at school ready and excited to learn.
