Fallon Ambulance Prepares Vehicles for DNC with Equipment Grant from Homeland Security

Fallon Ambulance was selected to receive hooded escape mask, nerve agent antidote kits and other equipment to deploy backup assistance in the event of an act of terrorism, disaster or other large-scale emergency that could overwhelm existing resources. In addition Fallon Ambulance was selected by the City of Boston to provide additional ambulance coverage to the city during the Democratic National Convention. From July 26th through July 29th Fallon Ambulance Services has committed five Basic Life Support ambulances to support Lower Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury, West Roxbury and Franklin Park. The units will be dispatched through the City of Boston’s dispatch system and will be under the operational authority of Boston Emergency Medical Services.
