Fallon Ambulance To Provide CPR Certification to Randolph High School Students
Fallon Ambulance, in coordination with Milton Hospital, will provide CPR training to Randolph High School students on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 26, 27 and 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
As part of the community program, Fallon Ambulance will provide seven Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) each day to instruct the Randolph High School students. The high school estimates that at least 210 students will be certified over the three-day period.
Milton Hospital coordinates the program with the school and provides mannequins, books and cards. In conjunction, Fallon will be instructing the heartsaver adult and pediatric course. The students will be certified in infant, child and adult CPR, which includes choking and resuscitation. The program is in its fourth year running.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with both Milton Hospital and the town of Randolph in this important exercise," said Peter Racicot, Senior Vice President of Business Development for Fallon Ambulance. He added, "A major portion of our community outreach programs centers on prevention, and we know that certifying high school students will result in lives being saved down the line."
